Museum of Decorative Arts and Design

|
The Museum of Decorative Arts and Design features some of the most interesting exhibitions of both Latvian and international artists and designers, which changes regularly. They also have a permanent exhibit of works of Latvian professional decorative applied arts dating from the late 19th century, including a vast collection of porcelain works. The setting of the museum is a sight in itself: the oldest surviving stone building in Riga, the former St. George's Church dating back to 1204, houses the collection. |
