The Daile Theatre is an outstanding part of Latvian culture, with a wealth of traditions that date back over 85 years. Some of the biggest names in Latvian theatre have acted on its stages or directed its performances, and visitors to the theatre have learned to expect the best. Today, theatre continues to hold on to its audiences and has increased the number of new productions each season, honouring the philosophy of a synthesis between traditions and the search for new ways.
