Latvian Railway Museum

A real den for enthusiasts, this is also an insight into the history and development a railway service that has undergone massive changes. With one base in Riga and another in Jelgava, the Latvian Railway Museum is the result of years of careful collecting and curating, and has clearly been a real labour of love on behalf of those who have put their time, efforts and money into bringing the collections to the public. Everything from rolling stock - man-powered and more - to tickets, timetables, cap badges, models and uniforms are represented.
