Voodoo

This multiplex of a club in central Riga offers three different settings in one place: nightclub, discotheque (only on weekend nights), and chillout bar. The nightclub is styled in faux African paraphernalia, with comfortable seats and a small dance floor. On the weekend, the smoky dance floor of the discotheque is generally full of barely legal and barely dressed vixens and male specimens whose muscles are probably compensating for something, all gyrating to the incredibly repetitive house music by local DJs. The chillout bar, as the name suggests, is lower key and more intimate, generally playing R&B music. If you want the typical club experience (overpriced cocktails, underpriced girls) this is the place.

Came to voodoo last weekend...its moved!!! Taxi driver gave us a guaranteed fare. Music was great (RnB) the girls are great :) and prices were amazing for Riga, it was a good end to the weekend

The bar staff regularly overcharge and short change foreigners under the influence. The DJ got very aggressive at my refusal to pay 2 lvl for a music request!

Me and my mates were on a stag weekend in Riga and went to Voodoo on saturday 21/07/07. We went in the chill out room and met two local girls who looked after me and took me back to Hotel Riga because i didnt know the way. We had a great night and we all loved Riga, we have never seen so many beautiful women. We will be back soon. Chow Riga.
