Actually the true title of this club is 'Pulkvedim Neviens Neraksta', but we thought you might find the English translation a bit less of a mouthful. Nobody Writes To The Colonel takes its enigmatic moniker from the Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel of the same name - not that we recommend trying to discuss magical realist literature with the particular patrons of this club, as you're more likely to hear something sensible from a troop of Rhesus monkeys. Of course, that's all part of the fun, and if you're looking for an unadulterated good time the Colonel should be your first point of call in Riga.
