Pulkvedis

The really big pulling point for Pulkvedis is the variety of music that is played over two floors of dance crazy, joyed up regulars. Head for the main floor for all the pop and disco you can eat, or dive down into the more edgy basement with its screeching techno, new indy and alt. Both get their fair share of revellers, so you're not going to find yourself short of a dance partner whenever you turn up. Great service too, with a variety of drinks served by bar staff who really do know their stuff. There's no charge on the door, but don't turn up looking lairy because you simply won't get in. Oh, and don't turn up at all on Sunday - the most crushing downside to Pulkvedis is that it does close one day a week.

Same place as Nobody write to the colonel.
But nice more local place - crowded Thursdays and Fridays - friendly staff and prices.
