Steiku Haoss

We thougt this would be a really nice place for a late dinner. They showed us wrong. The staff was helpfull at first, but gave us no attention at all after 10 minutes. I asked for medium rare steak, and they gave me medium pluss. If we wanted potatoes, vegetables or sauces we had to pay extra. The peppercornsauce didn't contain one single peppercorn, the baked potato was cold and the stuffing worse than a donkeyass. The italian redwine was 50/50 wine and water and they didn't even ask how our meal tasted. There was like 6 customers and 2 waitresses. So i cant understand the bad service of attention. We payed 50 LTL for a bad maincourse and one glass of wine. We would not recommend our worst enemies to go there.

We had just arrived Riga and chose to eat at the first restaurant we saw. It was ok food, small portion (and we are two girls) So we had to eat desert as well. The staff was smiling and very helpfull. They had also cheap prices that everyone can afford.

The food was awful!!! The chicken was only bones, and the lamb was only fat and uneatable! We had to pay the full price (very expensive) even that we reclaimed the food! Never again!!!

Bergs Restaurant

Me, my husband and our baby visited Bergs while on a trip to Riga. The staff was very attentive, and the food was fantastic. We sat out on the veranda which was very romantic. The prices are a bit high for Latvia, but the food and service is worth it. I would really recommend this restaurant!

I loved this place. It is cozy little place. It was my home base while I was in Riga. Sometimes I would begin my evening there and sometimes it was the place that would look after me and give me home cooked meals to sober me up. I was in Riga for 2 weeks and stopped by there every chance I could. Good, honest people serving good honest food.

Really Amazing food! we ate here after hearing that it was good and it lived up to the reputation it so rightly deserves. The Food was wonderful, as was the wine and the service. Defenatly a must for anybody visiting Riga.

Horrible food! One person got sick, the rest didn't even get enough food to get full. Very overpriced considering the horrible quality and the amount of food. STAY AWAY!

Very nice restaurant, nice located, food was amazing, every year when we visit Latvia we go there, sometimes you have to make a reservation, but it's not a problem, usually you can communicate with reception of your hotel and they will call and make it for you. Staff is wonderful and helpful.
