Lidojosa Varde

|
Lidojosa Varde ("The Flying Frog") is primarily a lunch spot, which you can easily see when you show up on a summer afternoon and it's completely packed. A spot on the shaded terrace is worth fighting for, though - or making new friends for, which shouldn't be too hard as the Flying Frog is quite popular with ex-pats and workers from the nearby embassies. The menu is fairly standard international cuisine, including pastas, pancakes, salads, burgers, grilled dishes, and desserts. In the evening, the frog-filled restaurant becomes a hangout for ex-pats and locals alike, serving beer and other drinks until about one in the morning. |
