Riga's non-Japanese restaurants have a weird habit of including sushi on their menu - first Zebra started the trend, and now Macaroni Noodle Bar. However, we're not complaining; in fact, every restaurant should have sushi if they can prepare it well. Macaroni's sushi may not win any prizes in Japan, but it's more than decent, probably because the group that owns Macaroni also owns a handful of Japanese restaurants. Otherwise, as the name suggest, Macaroni serves a wide variety of homemade pastas from around the world as well as Thai noodles, plus a quite good selection of non-pasta main courses and soups. It also has an extensive array of cocktails, and in the evening the restaurant doubles as a trendy bar.
