Ekovirtuve

Taken from the Latvian words for organic and cuisine/kitchen ("eko" and "virtuve"), Ekovirtuve is a small cafe that offers an alternative to the often heavy and meat-focused Latvian food choices in Riga. Cooking with healthy recipes using local organic produce, the cafe serves a variety of vegetarian, vegan, and even some traditional meat dishes - free-range, of course. For smaller snacks, try their array of organic teas and cookies or sandwiches. The cafe is part of an organic shop where you can buy almost everything that is organically produced in Latvia.
