Cili Pica

Everyone from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Gareth Southgate loves a slice of pizza. And while we don't recommend staying inside too often as Riga has far too much to offer, sometimes you just want to lounge about the house (or hotel) and order a pizza. Luckily, Cili delivers to just about every part of the Old Town and Central District. We had just arrived Riga and chose to eat at the first restaurant we saw. It was ok food, small portion (and we are two girls) So we had to eat desert as well. The staff was smiling and very helpfull. They had also cheap prices that everyone can afford.

Seems to a problem with Pizza in Riga, it has a distinct lack of a main ingredient, tomato!

The pizzas were OK but the DRINKS WERE NOT. Both my apple juice and my boyfriend's Coke had been watered down. The Coke didn't even sparkle because of the water. Maybe it's a custom in Latvia because the juices had been watered down at our hotel's breakfast too... I enjoyed my pizza, though.

It is quite famous in Riga and there are a lot of venues where you have this restaurant chain.

But the food is not good. You can eat it, but if you know REAL pizzas with taste and spices then you don't like it.

An English girl recommended that place, that's why we went there. So maybe I am a little bit more sensitive in pizza things :-)
