Whizz will be Winging in to Riga

Budget airlines are keeping up full throttle their steady advance into former Commie states with the news that Whizz Air will be launching three new routes this March from Riga Airport.

Whizz plans three flights a week to London Luton and Oslo Torp and two to Turku in Finland. It's good news for travellers and business people as Whizz Air traditionally has some of the lowest priced fares as well as having a reputation for running plenty of promotions.

If all goes well with the new flights top Airport Chief Krisjanis Peters, is keeping his fingers crossed that Whizz will start up more routes in and out of Riga Airport.
