Just 15 minutes drive from the old town of Riga, Ozo is Latvia's first 18-hole course and one of the best-maintained and advanced in Europe.
It is actually owned by a former professional ice hockey player, who brought in experts from as far afield as the USA to create a truly top-class golfing experience. With 16 ponds and 50 bunkers, it is no easy course, but certainly worth a visit for golf fans.
Because it's semi-private, guests are welcome but only have limited access to some of the facilities, but nevertheless all are made to feel welcome. |
