Circus Riga

Built in 1888, Circus Riga is still standing as it has been for over a hundred years and hundreds of performances. The impressive stone and rail architecture and the amphitheatre that can seat 450 and parterre with 580 seats are interesting sights in themselves. The circus features both Latvian and famous international performers, as well as special children's shows. Unfortunately for summer tourists, the regular programs are only staged from October to April, though during that time performances are staged at the end of every week.
