BaltiCCycle is actually a non-for-profit organisation, founded by the Lithuanian Cyclists' Community, which offers rental of quality bikes across the whole of the Baltic states. If a trip to Tallinn or Vilnius sounds like too much hard work however, don't worry because you can simply drop your bike back at the Riga branch from whence it came. Off course you'll lose a lot of kudos, but how much of that did you really have to begin with? Joking aside, hiring a bike is always a great way to see a city and its surroundings, although some experience of cycling on the roads is essential if you're going to take on the crazy Latvian drivers...
