Ekovirtuve

|
If you're in Riga for a while and need a healthy alternative to the traditional grocery store or supermarket, Ekovirtuve is Riga's haven for organic goods. Everything they carry is local as well, so your conscience can rest knowing that Latvian farmers can make a living while you can eat preservative-free, organic produce and meats. Their products are even fancy enough to be labelled “Latvijas Ekoprodukts,” meaning they're certified to be good for you. Ekovirtuve boasts that they sell almost everything that is organically produced in Latvia, and their well-stocked shelves certainly confirm that. The shop also features its own restaurant serving organic, vegan and vegetarian dishes. |
