This Norwegian-owned giant is the largest shopping centre in Latvia. Inside you'll find the usual suspects as far as shops go - it's hard to have a shopping centre in Europe without an H&M, for example - as well as a hypermarket for your larger grocery needs. And for Steve Jobs fanatics (if you can't walk by an iPod display without touching it even though you have your own, this means you), the Alfa Centrs has the only Apple Centre in Latvia! Located on Riga's main street Brivibas, the Centre is conveniently close to Apartment Riga. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00.
