Basteja Pasaza

Conveniently located right across from Bastejkalna Park on the edge of the Old Town, Basteja Pasaza, or Passage, is more a collection of European boutiques than an American-style large shopping mall. Quality over quantity seems to be the trend here, which works out practically as you'll probably end up paying as much for one suit or dress here as for ten somewhere else. This is definitely the place to both purchase and show off your 200 Euro sunglasses and matching leather boots. The centre hosts fashion shows by Latvian designers as well.
