Old Captain is a luxurious hotel complex located just outside of Riga (between the city and the airport) in a former countryside residence. The name stems from the owner, who himself was a sea captain, and has tried to bring some of the conveniences of ship life aboard to the hotel, such as speedy and polite customer service and a helpful staff always eager to say "ay, Captain!". Of course, the rooms themselves are hardly ship compartments; rather, they are luxurious and spacious enough to fit your whole crew, as well as boasting of the most modern technology and conveniences. Fans of antique cars will get a special treat, as the captain's Club for Collectors of Antiquarian Cars' collection is displayed at the hotel.
