Friendly Fun Franks

|
Friendly Fun Franks Backpackers Hostel (known simply as 'Friendly Franks' to its customers) is considered one of the best hostels, not only in Riga - but in the whole world. There's certainly a touch of flair to this joint Australian, British and Latvian venture, which not only greets weary guests with a cold beer upon arrival but also organises exotic trips - such as bob-sleighing with the Latvian national team. A comprehensive range of facilities includes free internet, safety deposit, 24 hr reception and bar, laundry service, and - true to its name - the staff are the friendliest in town. The location - in the Medieval walls of Riga Castle - ain't bad either. |

Had a brilliant time at this hostel. I'm a solo traveller, so the nightly pub and club tours with a beautiful local guide were much appreciated.
